Program Description

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Legal Management (BSBA-LM) is a three-year interdisciplinary program that integrates business administration with legal studies. It provides a strong foundation in corporate law, contracts, labor law, taxation, and regulatory compliance, alongside core business disciplines like operations, finance, marketing, and strategic management.
Designed to develop and equip students with critical thinking and legal problem-solving skills, the program prepares students for careers in corporate legal departments, compliance, risk management, government agencies, and entrepreneurship, and serves as an excellent pre-law track for those pursuing a Juris Doctor (JD) or law degree.

Program Learning Outcomes

1. Apply legal and management principles, theories and methods to various types of organizations.

2. Analyze, evaluate and solve problems critically using legal and management tools and techniques.

3. Use interpersonal and communication skills effectively.

4. Seek employment and facilitate the integration process in the corporate environment so they can be immediately productive once employed.

8. Identify the basic concepts that underlie each of the functional areas of business (marketing, accounting, finance, human resources management, production and operations management, information technology, and strategic management) and apply these concepts to business situations.

9. Apply the proper decision tools to critically, analytically and creatively solve problems and drive results.

10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders both orally and in writing.

11. Effectively and efficiently use information and communication technology (ICT).

Interdisciplinary Approach: The BSBA Major in Legal Management program is designed to equip students with a strong foundation in business administration while integrating essential legal concepts relevant to the corporate world. The curriculum covers core business disciplines (marketing, finance, management, operations) along with legal subjects (business law, labor law, trade laws, contracts, foreign investments and intellectual property law).
 
3-Year Accelerated Pathway to Law and Further Studies: Serves as an excellent pre-law program for students planning to pursue a Juris Doctor (JD) or LLB degree.
