Angeles City- The Angeles University Foundation Medical Center (AUFMC) takes another big step in providing the best healthcare in Northern and Central Luzon by giving kidney patients a better alternative to endless dialysis treatments.

The Department of Health issued the Certificate of Accreditation to the AUFMC Kidney Transplant Center as an authorized Kidney Transplant Unit on January 1, 2010, barely six months from application date. The first and the only kidney transplant unit in Central Luzon, the AUFMC-KTC is the result of the leadership of one of the country’s foremost transplant surgeons, Dr. Rosemarie Liquete and Dr. Maricel Catunggal, a highly respected nephrologist.
