The College was established in 1962 with the founding of the Angeles Institute of Technology and was known as the College of Commerce with an initial enrollment of 33 students. In July 1963, it was granted government recognition to offer the first and second year programs leading to the degree, Bachelor of Science in Commerce. In 1969, the College was authorized to offer the degree, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Accounting; Banking and Finance; Economics; Management and Marketing. This resulted to the renaming of the unit to College of Commerce and School for Secretaries with the integration of the Secretarial Program in 1980.
In 1984, the unit was renamed to College of Business and Economics with the integration of the Computer Center. In 1989, the School for Secretaries and Computer Center were separated from the unit and was then renamed to College of Business Administration. On May 4, 1992, DECS granted AUF the government recognition to offer Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, followed by the offering of BS Hotel and Restaurant Management in 1993 and BS Tourism in 2005.
Considered today as a leading business school in Central Luzon, the College of Business and Accountancy boasts of having produced competent and globally competitive graduates.
The College of Business and Accountancy is the human resource center for partners in business and industry, whose graduates are imbued with integrity, social responsibility and global competitiveness.

The CSC is the highest governing student body of the College. It serves as the umbrella organization of all other organizations in the College, both mandated and non-mandated. It spearheads and administers activities that increase the level of performance of students’ in various fields.
The AUF JMA is a non-mandated organization composed of skilled, proficient, and competitive students with sufficient expertise in Marketing.
The AUF JMESP was organized to prepare future entrepreneurs and managers through intra-curricular activities thereby providing opportunities to members to develop management skills and competencies.
All CBA academic scholars automatically become members of HonSoc. A student who is not a scholar but whose average is not lower than 87% and with no grade lower than 80 % in the preceding semester can also be a member.
The HRMJS is a non-mandated organization which aims to develop the necessary competencies of BSHRM students. It also aims to develop the students’ management skills through planning and organizing events while harnessing their entrepreneurial skills.
The AUF JPIA is a non-mandated organization affiliated with the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants and considered as the student counterpart of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). The AUF JPIA provides the best venue for Accounting students to develop their talents and capabilities by imbibing professionalism, civic consciousness and discipline among its members.
The AUF LTSP is a non-mandated organization of Tourism students recognized nationally. It aims to provide opportunities to members to excel both in curricular and extra curricular activities.
Trade Wings is the official student publication of CBA. It aims to develop the writing and creative skills of the students while fostering collaboration and harmony in the College.
